About this Intranet:
- This system is being built by the GoLightly Community Software team using our proprietary technology combined with integrated and cutting edge Open Source technology.
- An intranet is a network used internally in an organization that is sometimes access restricted. Typically the term refers to the internal web site. The same concepts and technologies of the world wide web such as web browsers and servers running on the internet protocol suite are used to build an intranet. Other internet protocols are commonly used as well, especially ftp and email. There is often an attempt to use internet technologies to provide new interfaces with corporate 'legacy' data and information systems. - From the Wikipedia Encyclopedia
- Thanks to our dedicated team of engineers we are constantly growing and adding new functionality. The team is nurtured by online learning specialists, volunteers, and community members like you - to ensure this system fits your needs.
About NiUG:
- NiUG International is the largest independent, not-for-profit, volunteer run iMIS user's group.
- The purpose of NiUG is best stated by our motto: "Share, Compare, Become More Aware".
- Started as a grass roots, regional effort in the mid-90s, NiUG's core purpose remains to advocate, educate, and connect iMIS users, even as we have grown over the years into an international organization.
- The key to this growth, and to the stability of NiUG is the input from our membership base and the leadership of our volunteer board of directors. Click the link at the left for a rosters of the current NiUG Board and the other standing committees within NiUG.
- Additional information about NiUG can be found under the major Membership and Events links above, and at our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.
